Lions Baseball Season Opens

By Melanie Stout

Diamond Lions’ baseball is in full swing, and off to a rough start, winning so far only 4 of the 10 games played.  Preseason practice began on January 10 and was hampered due to all the snowy winter weather. Most of the practices have been held indoors, and the team has had limited opportunities for on field practices. Changes to both infield and outfield positions have added to the struggles.
