“Why I Hate Religion, but Love Jesus” was a YouTubevideo that went viral Jan. 10, 2012. It has caused quite a stir around the world with over 18,537,295 views as of Feb. 8, 2012.  According to, the video, “uploaded Jan.10 has since become YouTube's most-watched video.”  The poem, which puts God and religion on opposite ends of the spectrum, was written by a 22 year old named Jefferson Bethke from Tacoma, Washington. Breathtaking best describes the natural beauty of Arkansas' tallest mountain. Rising 2,753 feet above sea level and occupying 2,234 acres of deep hollows, river valleys, and beautiful forests, Mt. Magazine offers sweeping views, rare and endangered species of wildlife, and is home to thousands of butterflies. The mountain’s diverse ecosystem provides a bountiful supply of unique habitat for the wildlife to survive and replenish. The protection provided by the Arkansas State Parks and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission play a huge role in the survival of our natural wildlife and forestland.
