A lifetime of waiting, all for a twenty second stroll across the big stage.
We all wait for the day that we walk across the stage as a high school graduate, but for many of us, a high school diploma will always take second best to our diploma from the University of Arkansas Fort Smith. Four years of our lives were well spent at UAFS, and the opportunities have been unlimited. From Homecoming to a blood drive, from Greek Week to sporting events, we have never missed the college life experience. So to us, this twenty second stroll across the stage is more than just that, but a reflection of 35,040 hours spent building a lifetime of memories.
The class of 2014 has seen many changed in the past four years such as being the first class to enjoy The Lion’s Den. But above all else, we will be the next class of graduating seniors from the University of Arkansas Fort Smith.
Please join the University of Arkansas Fort Smith in celebrating the graduation of the class of 2014 Saturday May 10th, 2014 at the Stubblefield Center in Fort Smith. There will be two graduation ceremonies this year. The 10 am ceremony will honor graduates from the Colleges of Applied Science and Technology, Business, Education, and Languages and Communication. The 2 pm ceremony will honor graduates from the Colleges of Health Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
